Who Can Learn It: Anyone can learn Play Instruments.
What It is Supposed to Do: Allow you to use musical instruments.
What it Does: Allows you to play musical instruments. Since there are no magical musical instruments, nor any non-runemagic bard-songs, this ability is rather pointless for anything other than roleplaying reasons. At this time, Play Instruments does not appear to be fully implemented.
Usefulness (Low Levels): Low. You can impress people with your terrible playing. Wow.
Usefulness (Mid-Levels): Low. You can annoy people in Town Square with your decent playing. Congratulations!
Usefulness (High Levels): Low. People laugh at you for spending so much time playing musical instruments instead of hunting. Arachnians kick sand in your face and break your flutes, and there's nothing you can do to stop them. Maybe you should have learned how to use a sword instead of a guitar?
